We have led photographers through Iceland many times, in winter aurora and under the summer midnight sun. Our most recent group, ten from Google, travelled in two vehicles and photographed all the way: long exposure on black beaches, focus beneath the northern lights, composition in weather that changed by the minute, then editing back at the hotel. The season changes the landscape. Our method does not. We plan around the light and teach until the photograph is yours.

The Dolomites are where we return most often, and knowing them well is the point. We lead here in autumn, when the first snow meets the last gold on the larches. Mornings begin before light at the lakes and high meadows, waiting for colour to touch the towers of rock. We teach composition among complicated mountains, long exposure on still water, and how to read Alpine weather that turns a grey hour into the best of the trip.
